1. SXSWclick 2007 Deadline is June 15!
Hurry up and submit! The deadline for this year's SXSWclick is June 15!
This is the 4th annual SXSWclick Festival, and we're really excited to
see what submissions are offered up this time around. A couple of basics
to know: the "grand jury prize" will include a Mac Pro Workstation and
an Apple Cinema Display (courtesy of iThentic), the "call for entries"
has begun and submissions can be any kind of category, under 10 minutes
in length. Official submissions rules and regulations are available on

2. Kal Penn, Bob Odenkirk Among SXSWclick Jury
We've selected our SXSWclick jury for 2007! Among the jury who will be
charged with watching the finalists this year, are "Namesake" star Kal
Penn, "Mr. Show" co-creator Bob Odenkirk, "Scratch" director Doug Pray,
doc blogger Agnes Varnum, "Kurt Cobain About a Son" director AJ Schnack,

4. SXSW Concert Series Debuts June 14 in Four Cities

7. SXSW on the June Festival Circuit
SXSW Film Festival Producer Matt Dentler will be representing the
festival in Minnesota as part of the annual McKnight Fellowship grant
panel for the IFP Minnesota, in early June. After that, he will serve on
the documentary feature jury for Silverdocs in Silver Spring, Maryland.
At the same time, SXSW Film Festival Coordinator Lya Guerra will visit
the Seattle International Film Festival, where she will be on the shorts
jury.
