Programming Changes
Please note the following changes to information printed in the Festival program guide:
Centrepiece Gala: King and the Clown (Tuesday May 22, 9:30pm) In addition to tickets for the screening and reception of the Centrepiece Gala, tickets are available for just the screening for $13 members and $15.50 general public. Tickets available through the box office.
Dante's Cove (Saturday May 19, 9:45pm) Please note that the runtime for the 3 episodes is 2hours and 35min (50min per episode) not 75min as listed in the program guide
Double Dutch Party (Saturday May 19, 10pm) Venue announced: Amsterdam Brewing Company, 21 Bathurst Street

Cirque du Soleil is thrilled to announce its return to Toronto from August 9 to September 2, 2007 with its latest live touring show Kooza. This limited engagement will be presented under the blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (big top) at the Port Lands (on Cherry Street).
Kooza is an energetic, compelling, funny and slightly provocative show. It tells of the encounter between characters living in two parallel worlds, plunging you into a wild universe that will make you laugh and move you.

A PITCHer?s worth $5000 bucks with 
Saturday June 16th ? 9:30am-11:30am ? Emmanuel College (75 Queens Park Circle, U of T campus)
Do you have a brilliant idea for a short? A saavy mouth? A will to win? Well, if your repertoire is missing that touch of tongue, this is the workshop for you. This year, Charles Street Video will award $5000* worth of High Definition equipment and post-production services towards one lucky pitcher?s next short! The seminar will feature 5 pre-selected applicants performing live pitches, and gaining immediate feedback from a panel of experts. Come learn how to perfect the art of pitching; find out the key ingredients to selling your film idea and all the Do?s and Don?ts of a short film pitch.
*The $5000 in-kind prize amounts to a $20 000 value at Industry rental rates!

The deadline for applications is Monday May 21, before 6pm
Criteria:
1. Students are ineligible. The residency is not open to staff or board members at Charles Street Video or the Worldwide Short Film Festival. 2. Films must feature the theme of cultural diversity and/or cultural identity. 3. Film projects can be at any stage of production, whether development, production or post-production. 4. Finished films cannot exceed 4 minutes. 5. Films can be dramas, documentaries or experimental.

Looking for a New Home
Out On The Shelf (OOTS), Guelph's queer (LGBTTTSIQQ*) library and community resource centre needs to find a new home by June 1st.
Our Home Hunting Campaign goal is $30,000.
