Did you attend the 2007 Images Festival? If so, then you?re invited:
 
Please join the Images Festival for a casual post-mortem feedback session.
We gratefully appreciate (and need!) your thoughts about the festival in
preparations for our 21st edition in 2008. Such information is crucial in
helping us serve our community of audience members, film makers and film
lovers and we'd love your thoughts.

A few members of the Images staff and board of directors will be present to
offer answers and clarifications to your questions, but mostly to listen to
your suggestions and comments in an open and casual atmosphere.

Drinks and summery snacks will most certainly be served! Also, Images
t-shirts and tote bags will be for sale to all participants at super-discount rates!

If you cannot attend, we welcome your feedback and suggestions always,

2007 REHAB: 9th annual Parkdale Film + Video Showcase

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
DEADLINE: 18 MAY 2007

9th annual REHAB (June 15-17, 2007) seeks new, vintage or under-appreciated 
short films, videos and installations made by artists living and/or working in
Parkdale. Artist fees paid, short works preferred. REHAB events include day
and evening screenings at multiple neighbourhood venues and outdoor family
screenings in the Fuller Avenue Parkette.

NEW programming for 2007!
 Send us your proposals for single channel film, video AND:
REside: in-house projection installations for 3 houses on Fuller Ave.
REwind: home movie screenings from the vaults of Parkdale
RElearn: daytime film and video workshops for children and youth

Work can be submitted to one of 3 drop off boxes:
The Film Buff Video Shop (73 Roncesvalles Avenue just North of Queen)
7-24 Movies and More (1624 Queen Street West)
Gladstone Hotel (1214 Queen Street West)

Submissions should include a VHS preview tape or DVD and a completed
submission form.

Call for Submissions: Kassel 2007

24th Kassel Documentary Film & Video Festival 2007
Deadline: August 1, 2007

The 24th edition of the Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival is going
to take place from November 13 to 18, 2007. On six days the festival
presents about 220 international documentary films as well as experimental
and artistic works. Moreover, the media art exhibition MONITORING, the
DokfestLounge with audiovisual performances and the interfiction symposium
do top off the festival program. Having this profile the Kasseler Dokfest
annually attracts both a regional audience as well as professionals of the
film and media industry from Germany, Europe and the rest of the world.

We invite all artists, filmmakers, distributors, gallery owners,
universities or institutions to submit latest works and projects to the
different sections of the festival program.

Deadline for entries is August 1, 2007.
